I am a bilingual both in Korean and English. With respect to Korean language, I ranked in the top 2% out of all the Koreans that took the KBS Korean Language Ability Test in 2013. I am also holding a certificate of teaching Korean to speakers of other languages. Regarding English, I have traveled or worked in 20 different countries including Canada, Australia, and the U.S. while growing up. I received my master's degree in the U.S. and have taught College English at Yanbian University of Science and Technology, China, as a visiting professor. This October, I am going to continue my study at University of Cambridge, the world's best university (Course Name: MPhil in Education - Research in Second Language Education).
As a freelance translator, I have been providing Korean-English (and vice versa) translation and proofreading services for a year. The companies I am currently affiliated with provide translation services internationally. My specialties include the fields of education, linguistics, general business, media, journalism, history/archaeology, social science, legal documents/contracts, and so forth.
Given my educational backgrounds and experience as a freelance translator, I am confident in the quality of my work. I am keen to discuss how I can contribute to the success of your work. I will look forward to hearing from you with any regarding information. Thank you for your time and consideration.
