I am a professional translator with a degree in Specialized Translation from the University of Bologna,
SSLMIT (the first-rate university for translation in Italy) and a PhD student in Linguistics at the University of Pavia with a project on translation between English and Italian. My academic research in translation, together with my practical long-standing activity as a freelance translator, allow me to have a comprehensive approach to translation, where theory informs practice and vice-versa. I have cooperated with different agencies (Italian and foreign) for a long time and I am able to provide reference names.
Very passionate about my job and always willing to learn from and perfect my activity, I keep constantly updated in the field of new technologies and theories of translation.
But passion is not everything: I am precise and punctual in delivering translations by deadlines, always using CAT tools at best in order to assure lexical coherence.
