During my studies I gained experience in pharmaceutical translation as an external translator and editor for a major pharmaceutical company specialized in oncology drugs. After five years in this position, I started my career as a freelance translator focusing on medicinal products and medical devices. I have practical experience from medical devices companies from Regulatory Affairs dpt. of a manufacturer of gastrointestinal and coronary stents, and from Quality Assurance dpt. at a company producing urodynamic equipment. I am familiar with ISO standards and legislation related to medicinal products and medical devices, a knowledge which enables to have a good command of the specific terminology which cannot be found easily on the internet. I am able to handle highly specialized translations such as clinical trials documents as well as patient brochures or surveys which need to be tailored to layperson's need.
