I translate EN-FR-PT>ES. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interpreting and a Master's Degree in Literary Translation from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Furthermore, I have also completed the Master in Medical Translation from Aulasic including the following fields: traditional medicine, oriental medicine, veterinary, pharmaceutical translation and terminology, clinical trials, practicum in medical translation and psychopathology.
I worked for 14 years in The Walt Disney Company where I was the publications' coordinator in charge of the whole editorial process including relationships with licensees and freelancers, correction and editing of Spanish texts when necessary, illustrations, mock-ups, etc., with pre-defined quality standards. For the last 3 years I was the editor of three Children’s magazines responsible for hiring and coaching freelancers, as well as coordinating translations, revisions, lettering, and other editorial tasks. This experience is an added value for my client’s services.
I won the Andreu Febrer Prize in 2015, which theme was Children's and Young-Adult translation with a fragment of one book from the series The World of Norm.
